From Inside Out - a Mandala Art Experience

with Leina Wann

1pm to 4pm, Sunday, Jan 18th

(Class Fee: $30)

We will explore and experience first of all, allowing ourselves to calm and relax and be present. As we do the suggested exercises we let creativity flow through with ease. We will do several timed drawings using pastels on paper, then expand into creating a personal mandala of your own.

About Leina Wann  "I have been curious with the question I often ask myself after completing a piece of artwork or a poem, "Did I really do that?" Finally, I had to tune in and find out and a whole new world of possibilities unfolded. With devotion, I've come to appreciate and embrace my life and creativity in whichever form it appears and say, "I love it. It's perfect. And because I love it, someone out there will love it too." This good news spreads through my teachings."

with Suzzie Sauer

1pm to 4pm, Sunday, June 21st

Space limited to 6. (Class Fee: $30)

Unravel the tangled mystery of macrame with this beginner's workshop offered by Suzzie of Sauer Entanglements. You will learn, and practice, a few basic knots by making a simple piece before moving on to knotting up a spring-themed suncatcher to hang in summer sun! Come TIE it out! All abilities welcomed.

Suzzie Sauer began her macrame journey after falling in love with the textured beauty of fibre art. She loves exploring new ways to apply macrame technique, and enjoys designing new work. The meditative nature of macrame, as well as the creative potential of the medium continue to hold sway, and encourage Suzzie to keep exploring and creating.
