Mystic Stix with Win Konjin
1pm to 4pm, Sunday, Oct 12th
(Class Fee: $25)
Painting sticks is both a meditative practice and a playful, interactive activity for all ages.
In this workshop, you’ll begin by choosing a special stick from the beach—one that “calls out” to you. A piece about an inch thick with the bark removed makes an ideal, smooth canvas. (Bring your own or select one we provide.)
Though simple, this creative process is deeply relaxing and surprisingly revealing. It offers space for calm reflection while encouraging you to explore your artistic side in a lighthearted way.
Win began painting sticks in 2000 with her young grandson, who loved collecting treasures on their walks. Their painted sticks became hours of imaginative fun. Now, we invite you to share in the same joy—experiment, play, and discover where your creativity takes you.
